Woodside, CA
June 14-16, 2020 (postponed)
COVID-19 Update: As you certainly know, concerns about the spread of coronavirus have put all sorts of plans up in the air. Unfortunately, that means we need to postpone this training. If you would like to receive news about rescheduling, please send a note to Ted DesMaisons at info@animalearning.com. Thank you and stay safe and healthy.
Are you a teacher, parent, therapist or caregiver on the lookout for ground-breaking tools to transform the lives of your clients and students?
If so, Bal-A-Vis-X was made for you.
What the heck is Bal-A-Vis-X?
Bal-A-Vis-X an evidence-based practice of therapeutic rhythm. It’s coordinated brain integration. It’s collaborative focus-building. And it’s profoundly healing.
Start with a sophisticated, disciplined and time-tested curiosity for the needs of actual learners. Take a few brightly-colored beanbags and a some similarly-colored bouncy balls. Add in a balance board or two, if you like. Mix them thoroughly among more than 300 simple-to-complex exercises that call for full-body engagement and careful attention to tempo. Make sure to include “mid-line crossings” in three dimensions to stimulate all parts of the brain.
Repeat often and enjoy a wide range of physical, cognitive, and emotional benefits across the full spectrum of ages and aptitudes.
“Bal-,” as in balance. “A-,” as in Auditory. “Vis-,” as in Visual. And “X”, as in crossing the midline. Bal-A-Vis-X. It reaches deep and it makes big changes.

Instructor
This training will be led by Bill Hubert, the creator of Bal-A-Vis-X. He developed the technique during his years as a school teacher and martial arts instructor. He currently leads trainings internationally and runs a Bal-A-Vis-X clinic in Wichita, Kansas. His instruction is clear, direct, and demanding. He’s also quite funny. Careful observers will learn as much from his teaching style as they will from the course content.
